| what if i don't feel like updating?!!!!

| Well I truly don't know where to start here. But here goes anyhow...
Well I spent the last two weeks down in Newton, TX (way southeast)
working for Mennonite Disaster Service. I was actually working
for them, but a large part of the reason for me being there was so that
I could drive one of the vans for the Amish. There were 20-22
single amish guys there, and two couples. The guys were mostly
ages 19-24, but one was 31 (and very crazy). All of the above were from Kalona, IA.
It was a very delightful 2 weeks I spent hanging out with my amish
brethren. I hope they weren't too shocked by my behavior, but I
really didn't worry too much about preserving a civilized image and was
probably a fair bit goofier than I usually am. It was a blast!
While I was there I attended two amish church services. I decided
that qualified me to be officially amish so I took several further
measures to display my amish-ness. The first was to wear
suspenders to church. Then on friday night i got an amish
haircut. It's Kalona style so it's not awful, but it still looks
amish. Then
on Saturday we went to the beach in Louisiana, and I borrowed one of
the guys' black hats for the day. I think the guys enjoyed seeing
me running around looking amish almost as much as I enjoyed doing
it.
Well the stories could keep going, but I don't really feel like typing
them all out. So I guess you have to call me or something if you
wanna hear more. Oh I should probably add that something really
amusing happened on the way home involving one of you, but I'm sure she
wouldn't want me to say anything about it so I won't. It's really
tearing me apart not to say something about it, but I'll be nice for
once in my life. If you are really curious just ask mmkoy about
it.
Well i'm tired of typing. bye.

| Well we went coyote hunting this morning and sent 4 coyotes to "coyote
heaven" and another is still shaking from his near death experience.
It was exhilerating!

| I'M GOING TO GO CHASE SOME COYOTES THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing quite like a good old redneck coyote hunt to get my blood pumping.

| Well this is probably going to be a fairly boring post, so if you only want to be entertained just stop here.
Ok, well you asked for it!
Does anyone else have moments when they suddenly are inspired and have
deep thoughts about life? Anyone? Well, ok, I must be weird then.
Well my deep thoughts about life came late last night when I was lying
in bed and thinking. I'm not quite sure yet how I feel about them, so
if you have feedback feel free to give it.
deep thought #1: "A life lived only trying to please others is not really a life at all."
deep thought #2: "A life lived in service to others and to God is life to the fullest."
Ok so I don't know if I'm the first to have these exact thoughts or
not, but if someone had them before me, he/she must have been at least
as brilliant as me.
